Cells for life gave Todd and I a chance to do something for our child that was not available when we were born. Since Heart Disease and Diabetes runs strongly in our family, we thought that Cells for Life was the best way to go in case the cord blood was ever needed. Not only did our Cells for Life representative give us very detailed and informative information but, she also gave us peace of mind in knowing that our child would be protected. It was one less thing that we had to worry about and it was taken care of quickly, easily and in a very professional manner.

Banking our baby's cord blood to us, didn't seem like an option. Once we met with the helpful staff at Cells for Life we knew we had to do it. Cancer, Heart Disease, Stroke and Diabetes run in our families and we felt Cells for Life was a must.
Our son was born on July 15, 2003 and we hope we never have to use it, but knowing his cord blood has been banked has given us some peace of mind. There are so many things new parents have to worry about, Cells for Life has helped take one worry away.

We decided to bank umbilical cord blood after discussing it with our doctor. The cost is very little considering there is no better "insurance policy" for the health of your child. It was not at all intimidating and very simple. We hope that we never have to use the cord blood, but it provides great piece of mind knowing that it's there. Thank you.

Cells for Life was of interest to us for our children because of the cancer that is prominent in my family. Upon meeting with the Cells for Life representative, I was thrilled to hear that cancer was one of the issues that cord blood was used for. The detailed explanations that we received from the Cells for Life representative helped my husband and I decide this was a program that was of great interest to us. The blood work was the only prerequisite that was required, which is something you get very used to when you're pregnant!
After the delivery of my children, the storage process was not something that I even remember as it is performed so quickly and efficiently.
The process has given us a peace of mind similar to an insurance policy. We hope that the stored cells will never be needed, but we have the help available to our children should they ever need it.
